Strength & Balance: Your instructor meets you where you are in your path to wellness. Focuses on cardio, strength training, yoga stretching and balance. Hand weights, resistance bands, will be used to increase head-to-toe stamina, flexibility and balance. Tennis shoes recommended.

Rise inversion table chair yoga is a new style of yoga only offered at LaLumbre that incorporates the use of a stool designed to support your yoga practice – and increase the FUN factor! This style of yoga allows you to get into different inversions with a little more ease while reducing the risk of compression of the spine. Come and explore the possibilities of this new style and all the benefits inversions have to offer.
Yoga for Beginners: This class is designed to move at a slow pace with full descriptions of where the body should be. Fundamentals of yoga postures are the focus and the instructor will guide the student on how to link your breath with movement.
Yin Yoga: A passive practice meant to relax your tissue, muscles, fascia, ligaments and mind. A challenging and rewarding practice because students must find their edge. Postures are held for at lest 3 minutes and students leaving feeling grounded and stretched.
Hatha Yoga: The students physical and mental potential are the focus here. It is a basic style of yoga that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises), which help bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation.
Vinyasa: is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Commonly referred to as “flow” yoga, it is sometimes confused with “power yoga“. Vinyasa classes offer a variety of postures and no two classes are ever alike.
Healthy Backs: The class is built to strengthen the core and relieve back pain. The instructor will guide students through a series of fundamental postures that assist in building a healthy spine. The student will move the spine in six directions within the hour of the class. A Great class for all levels!

Bolly Toomka: Is a fun, high intensity, dance-cardio workout set to Bollywood music. Suitable for dancers, and non dancers alike, the routines are also choregraphed for all fitness levels and age groups!
Ashtanga: Is a dynamic, flowing style that connects the movement of the body with the breath. The method stresses the importance of daily practice of a set of series of movements. This class is designed off of the primary series (8 limb yoga)
Slow Burn: A balanced class, blending stretch and strengthening, a great slow build that will make you sweat while still eliciting a state of deep relaxation. When flowing with breath through movements like dancing dog, always work with the core engaged to support the lower back. Slow Burn encourages an inward journey by moving with the eyes closed, helping students feel the postures, rather than see them. This class includes slower paced flows, and longer holding postures. The entire body and mind are brought back to balance through this focused, yet calming class.
Movement & Meditation: Introduction into meditation breathing techniques. Singing and chanting breathwork, movement and live harmonium may be incorporated in class.
Power Flow: is a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. This type of yoga is taught in a heated room which makes it vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and physical and mental stamina in one session. Baron Baptiste, the founder of this form of yoga, describes this practice as “the perfect blend of sweat and serenity.”
Beginner Flow: is designed for those that want to get the meditative nature of flowing, you’ll be guided through postures in a Vinyasa style, beginning with the basic poses, but allowing for more challenging poses based on your practice level. Props are encouraged to allow the body to fully achieve each pose comfortably. This class allows the student time to learn what flow is, remember the flow, and practice on the mat.
